10^th Annual Sierra Invitational Relays

First 28 schools to RSVP will be guaranteed a spot

When: Saturday, 8 March, 2008 Where: Modesto JC

Time: Check-in begins at 8:00;  Track and Field events begin at 9:00 (note earlier start time for track events)
Cost: $200.00 per school
Divisions: Frosh-Soph Boys and Girls, Varsity Boys and Girls
Track Events: One team per school in each division in relay events, and three athletes per school in individual events, per division. 

Distance Medley Relay (800-400-1200-1600)
110/100m Shuttle Hurdles Relay (two athletes: out and back)

4x100m Relay
1600m Run
Sprint Medley Relay (100-100-200-400)
400m Run
4x200m co-ed Relay (girl-girl-boy-boy)
800m Run
4x400m Relay

Field Events: Three entries per event, per division.  There may be minimum measurements in the
throws and horizontal jumps, depending upon entries in the event.

Long Jump
Triple Jump
High Jump
Pole Vault
Shot Put
Discus Throw

Awards: Medals to the top six individuals in each field and individual event in each division. 
Medals to the top three teams in relay events in each division.
Plaques to the top three teams in each division, in addition to a sweepstakes plaque to the best
team by combining varsity division girls and boys scores.

This is an initial notice so that you can mark the date on your 2008 calendars.  We will send out additional
